Position title: Administrative Assistant
- B.A. 2007, East Asian Languages and Literature
- University of Wisconsin–Madison
I was born and raised in Wisconsin and have lived in Madison since 2003 with the exception of a school year abroad at Nanzan University (Nagoya, Japan). I joined the Landick lab in March 2016. While it may seem an unusual choice given my background, I am fascinated by science and am excited for the opportunity to help scientists do important work. Before I joined the Landick lab I worked for a medical research group that studies the effects of various eye diseases on vision in older adults and adults with diabetes.
Outside of work I enjoy making food, gardening, practicing my second language, musical pursuits (listening, singing, and supporting the local music community), playing video games, crafting, and admiring/wearing Japanese street fashion.
